FCG Mains-Powered Reflective Bird Deterrent

The FCG Mains-Powered Reflective Bird Deterrent is a motorised bird management system designed to humanely reduce bird activity across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential properties. The continuously rotating reflective unit produces unpredictable flashes of reflected light that disturb birds’ visual comfort, encouraging them to move away from treated areas.

The FCG Mains-Powered Reflective Bird Deterrent is a flock reduction system and not a physical bird-proofing product. When correctly positioned and installed, the system can assist in achieving up to a 70% reduction in targeted bird activity, depending on site conditions, bird species, and surrounding environmental factors.

For areas where birds are already roosting, nesting, or heavily established, FCG recommends incorporating the unit into an integrated bird management programme. This may include physical deterrents such as bird netting, bird spikes, Optical Bird Gel, or other suitable FCG bird control methods to achieve improved long-term results.

Powered directly from mains electricity through the supplied 12V transformer, the system provides continuous and reliable operation without the need for batteries or solar panels.

The unit is weather-resistant, environmentally friendly, and designed for long-term operation. Quarterly cleaning and routine inspections are recommended to maintain optimum reflective performance and ensure the system continues operating effectively.
